Climate Stewards can offset the emissions that your church produces.
They are the only charity that wishes that you would give them less donations! This is because they hope that you reduce your current emissions as much as possible before you choose the option to offset.
So, once you’ve looked at module 13 of Eco-Congregations, they invite you to embark on their 3 step challenge:
Step 1) Offset any Church emissions which cannot be removed. These can involve the direct emissions from the Church building and also the journey of leaders etc travelling to church
Step 2) Offset the emissions of congregation getting to church
Step 3) Offset the everyday emissions of the congregation.
However - any level of offsetting is warmly welcomed.
