New Co-ordinator for Eco-congregation sought
Eco-congregation England and Wales is inviting applications for the post of National Co-ordinator, as the current co-ordinator will be moving on to pastures new.
Appointment:
Eco-congregation Co-ordinator England & Wales
It is an exciting time to be equipping the churches to rise to the challenge of climate change and of caring for God’s world. Eco-congregation England & Wales is seeking to recruit a part-time (2 days per week) co-ordinator to oversee the programme.
Providing the most comprehensive resources for churches, Eco-congregation seeks to encourage congregations to weave environmental issues and care for creation into every aspect of the life of the church.
Working with key people in the denominations, and in other NGOs, the co-ordinator will spread the word about the programme, whilst providing help and support to churches engaging in the process. The co-ordinator will have a good working knowledge of the issues, be prepared to ensure the running of the programme through office based work, and seek to grow the programme through overseeing the development of the resources.
